Ritowa Eternity
I have a lot of memories of these characters because when the anime show Inuyasha came back with its sequel, Hanyou no Yashahime, Riku and Towa quickly became my favorite ship.
I have to tell you, the official art of Ritowa that I used on my book cover is definitely my favorite. I just love how peaceful and calming it feels when I look at it. It really helps me relax and clear my mind. While some people might not feel comfortable with this ship, I feel quite the opposite. Even though these characters come from different backgrounds, I find comfort seeing Riku and Towa together. I find comfort in how Riku always takes risks to make sure Towa is always safe from harm. He is willing to sacrifice himself for someone he loves. It's definitely one of the best I've seen!
I just love listening to music, especially when I play old songs from my playlist that remind me of Riku and Towa. I never get tired of gazing at the beautiful art until I drift off to sleep. It's just so calming and soothing. That's how much Ritowa impacts me. I suggest you play the songs listed below—they are the best!
1. I Will Be Here for You- Michael Smith
2. Break - Uru
3. Koisuru Shippo - Aoi Teshima
4. Shiroi Machi to Aoi Coat - Aoi Teshima
5. Dearest -Hamasaki Ayumi
Being a Ritowa shipper turned my otaku world upside down. Of course, life is not perfect, and there have been both good and bad moments. But I have no regrets about what happened to me in the past. I believe the universe brought Ritowa into my life to help me become a stronger person when facing unexpected hardships.
Being part of Ritowa community has taught me to be more mature and handle situations under pressure. For me, they aren't just fictional characters; they have greatly encouraged my personal growth. Watching fictional characters successfully deal with and overcome their challenges gives me hope and confidence that I, too, can recover and progress after facing my own difficulties.
I think of Riku and Towa as my friends. I know it's kinda funny how we can get so close to characters who aren't even real, right? They may not be real people. But let me tell you... their story has made me feel strong emotions, just like a real-life story would. I think that by really getting to know characters like Riku and Towa, I can learn how to handle tough situations, keep moving forward, and stay in a good headspace, even when life gets tough. This just goes to show that tapping into the strength of fictional characters can actually teach us a thing or two and give us a much-needed boost when we need it.
Riku and Towa Fanfiction Thoughts:
1. I have to admit, writing Ritowa fanfic was really tough at first. I spent weeks trying to come up with the perfect way to introduce Riku and explain his background to my readers. I didn't wanna stress myself out too much, so I thought I'd just work on 'showing emotions' in my fanfiction for Ritowa. I really think emotions bring a certain realness to the scenes. Like, if I were in Riku or Towa's shoes, showing emotions would totally make the scenes feel super genuine or more authentic, you know?
2. What if Riku and Towa had their own child? I've dreamed about Riku as a father in the future—a first-time dad! I want to create a story where Riku lives as a normal pirate captain of a ship. Although Riku's life will differ from my Midoriko and Kirinmaru (MidoKirin) stories, I want to build a life for him where he is now a father, living with his wife and child. And how would he handle a kid with the same behavior as Towa—naughty, talkative, and always a conscious, smart child? And from the child’s perspective, how would she manage growing up with parents from two different worlds—Feudal and modern era? Sounds cute and exciting, right? I think I will create more content about Ritowa family.
