First of all, I want to express my sincere gratitude to S.J. Rosalie for writing this book. I'm so happy I read this. Like, beyond happy. I've been searching for a well-written married couple trope with a generous dose of spice. I was a bit bummed nobody I talked to online or IRL seemed to know any stories like this. So, finding this book was a real gem!
Grady and Brooke's intimate scenes were incredibly hot!
- It felt like I was watching a steamy romance on Netflix. You know, the kind you enjoy alone at home where you wouldn't dare miss a moment. Their passion was so intense and you could really feel the genuine love between them.
- Their interactions were so convincing. It wasn't just physical, it was the emotional connection that made it feel real. You could really tell they were deeply in love, which made the spicy scenes even more impactful.
MMC as a loving husband.
- Grady is the man of every woman's dreams. He's soooo patient and would do anything to make his wife happy and satisfied.
- I loved how he's willing to discuss anything they need to change to improve their marriage. For me, it's nice to see a male character who is so committed to his relationship. Loved the fact that he understands that a strong marriage requires effort and open communication. Honestly, Grady being so willing to listen and go with the flow made him really attractive as a character.
RELATIONSHIP:
I was so happy to read a book where the characters actually talk about what they WANT AND NEED IN BED. Like, they straight up communicate to make their sex/marriage life better. Moments like this are so rare. Maam, you don't often see couples in books talk about intimacy with such honesty.
For anyone wanting a book that captures loving and passionate marriage, this is the best choice! You'll connect with the characters on a deep level and find yourself rooting for their happiness.
