Summary: Priestess Midoriko sat in her chambers, staring at the empty space in front of her. She had been married for several weeks now, but she still struggled to understand her demon husband.
Kirinmaru was not like the other men she had known. He was strong, powerful, and often distant.
Midoriko thought back to their wedding day when they exchanged vows and sealed their union with a kiss. It had been a brief and chaste kiss, but it had left her feeling confused and unsure of what to expect from her arranged marriage to the demon lord.
Was that kiss still relevant now that they were married? Did her husband still think of it as a meaningful gesture, or had it become just another ritual to be performed?
She sighed and shook her head. She had so many questions, but no answers. She had been raised to be a priestess, to serve and protect her people, but she had never been taught how to be a wife to a demon.
Just then, there was a knock at her door. She turned to see her husband standing in the doorway, a solemn expression on his face.
"I have come to invite you to train with me," Kirinmaru said, his deep voice resonating through the room. "We are to fight as enemies, hone our skills and strengthen our bond as husband and wife."
The priestess hesitated, unsure of what to do. She had never fought alongside her husband before, and the idea of sparring with him filled her with fear and uncertainty. But she knew that she had to try if only to better understand him and their marriage.
So, she nodded and stood, following her husband to the training grounds. There, they faced off against each other, their weapons clashing and their movements precise. The priestess fought with all her might, but she could not match her husband's strength and skill.
As they fought, she found herself thinking about their wedding kiss once again. Was it still relevant, or had it become meaningless in the face of their tumultuous relationship?
Suddenly, the demon stopped and looked at her, his eyes piercing through her soul. "What are you thinking?" he asked, his voice soft and curious.
The priestess shook her head, trying to deny that she was thinking anything at all. But the demon simply smiled and placed a hand on her cheek.
"I have the ability to read minds, my lady," he said, his voice gentle and soothing. "And I can sense that you are thinking about our wedding kiss. Do not fear, my love. I still hold that kiss dear to my heart, and I will show you how to be kissed in the way that a demon spouse should be kissed."
With that, Kirinmaru leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her deeply and passionately. The priestess felt her fear and uncertainty melt away, replaced by a sense of wonder and curiosity.
She realized that the demon was trying to teach her how to be kissed, and she felt grateful for his patience and understanding. The priestess felt a surge of emotion and desire as she kissed her husband back, finally understanding the true depth of their bond.
As they pulled away from each other, Midoriko knew that she still had a lot to learn about her husband, Kirinmaru but she was excited to explore this new world with him. She smiled up at him, feeling a new sense of confidence and hope for the future.
